Originally by: NupetietVer From a business point of view, buying GTC's with ISK will be up next. No way a company would let players pay for the game with in-game money. Once an alliance is big enough to hold 0.0 space and mine those golden roids/rats, that means free GTCs, i mean ETCs. And as it stands, EVE is the only MMO that allows buying ETCs with in-game money.
Time to standardize the game like any other MMO and rake in the money.
Somebody has to buy GTCs with real cash before they can sell them for ISK.

Nerf Dirk Magnum. After years of denial he is finally learning to admit he enjoys the show Scrubs.

Not necessarily saying ALL of the following SHOULD happen, but:
I'm guessing Caldari Recons are going to get tweaked regardless of what happens to ECM modules overall. Maybe ECM will get a change overall or maybe it won't. If it does I'd like to see it become script-based. Have a short-range script that hits for full power, and a long-range script that hits for less. Since this is already the longest-ranged EWar system the introduction of range scripts might be the way to go if you HAD to do a responsible ECM nerf IMO. Simply nerfing ECM power in its entirety could potentially make the modules non-viable on unbonused ships.
T1 Battleships. Call me crazy but I see various nerfs occuring to the stats of individual Battleship classes sooner than I see CCP laboring to make T2 BSs clearly superior on their own merits to their faction or well-fitted T1 counterparts.
Black Ops. They're going to give it the ability to warp cloaked thinking that a lack of cloaked warping was peoples' main complaint about this class. This is actually a buff of course, but by making this change and nothing else it just nerfs the future of the Black Ops class. "We buffed Black Ops with the CO Cloak, problems solved, moving on to the next ship now" will be how it goes, and the addition of fuel bays and such will be further delayed.
Orca. The -10 flashing pod game is going to be ruled an exploit eventually, even though it shouldn't be.
Cloaking. No more ability to go safely AFK in stationless systems without just turning off the client thanks to the addition of an anti-cloaking device or probe or something. I could tolerate such a module if it only worked against the prototype cloak, but using it against the T2 cloaks is IMO overzealous.
Skill queue. Instead of actually letting people program real training plans into the queue, the queue system will just be some pile of hugely pre-nerfed bull**** that may as well have never been added at all. Just my guess on how this feature is going to be implemented. But seriously now that ghost training has been removed there's no excuse not to add a fully functioning queue feature.

Originally by: Joe Starbreaker After that I think they'll nerf Mining in general. Whether it be pushing the good oars further from Empire, or making miners train exploration, or making mining less of an AFK activity, I think they'll make it more difficult.
On this point I really hope you're right, especially on the moving of ore. One of the things I always push for (albeit in full knowledge of the proposal's likely futility) in mining threads is the relocation of large quantities of the basic ore types in High Sec into Low Sec. It would generate as many problems as it would fix and really be an interesting change to the game. But no, people say that they don't want to go to Low Sec and CCP can't make them and I say well fine there would still be ore in High Sec just less of it and you need to accept that module costs will increase if you don't go mine Low Sec and then agh I just want to juice them tbh
